I am not asking you whether you are criticized or not, because I am sure that you will be. Our friends, relatives, and so many other people might criticize us so many times, on so many occasions.
Usually, people react to insults in two ways.
The first way is to feel depressed and worried. They tell themselves that they are a total failure.
The second way is that they won't mind any comments from any person.
Well, let me tell you guys, these two ways are actually wrong. From now onwards, when anyone criticizes you, follow these 3 steps. This is going to do wonders in your life.
1-Understand Constructive and Destructive Criticism
There are two kinds of criticisms.
1-Constructive Criticizm
This criticism is in a way that someone criticise you by pointing out your mistakes. For example, some people comment on my youtube channel that my audio quality is not good, my background is not good, the music is bad, like that.
When I see those comments, I think on how to rectify these problems, and then I will solve that issue.
What happens then is that day by day, my videos keep on improving.
2-Destructive Criticism
This criticism is in a way that someone criticizes you without any reason. For example, in some of my videos, some people use bad words and criticize me without saying any kind of reason.
You don't need to reply for these kinds of comments. Because they are jealous of you or they will have any mental problems.
So first you need to figure out what kind of criticism is. If it is constructive, then try to rectify your mistakes which helps you to improve your personality. If it is destructive, just avoid them.
2-Take it as a Feedback
You might be seen this 'feedback' option in so many places like youtube, websites, applications, etc.
Why are they giving that option?
Because their audience can point out their problems and suggest new things. When the company hear those and implement new things, it will help them to grow.
Like that, take your criticism like feedback.
3-Take a Deep Breath
When anyone criticizes you, don't criticize them in return. Instead of that, just think. Are they right? If the mistake is on your side, accept it.
Then take a deep breath. By doing that, your mind will become cool.
After that, identify whether it is constructive or destructive. Then take action according to that.
